After the response to our summer Lola, we’re bringing her back for winter — reimagined in a deep, tumbled black linen that feels quietly luxurious. This limited edition Lola Noir carries the same easy spirit as the original, now grounded in richer, colder-season tones. Soft navy-and-black striped linen trims the cuffs and hem, offering a subtle contrast that elevates the silhouette without losing its simplicity.

The reversible design remains: wear the V-neck to the front for a relaxed, modern line, or reverse it for a more refined, covered look. A matching tie lets you shape the waist or leave the dress loose and flowing. With side-seam pockets and a beautifully draped A-line cut, she’s made in small numbers and ready to ship immediately.

Post-Production Alterations:  Please note that once a piece has been made, we are unable to alter it. Any bespoke alterations requested after production will incur an alteration fee.

Non-Returnable:  It's important to be aware that bespoke alterations make the order non-returnable for exchange or refund.

Care

This Kindred of Ireland piece is crafted from Irish Beetled linen, a fabric steeped in centuries-old tradition dating back to the 1700s. The labor-intensive beetling process, performed in Co. Derry by the last beetlers in the world, involves dampening and pounding the linen with wooden blocks for hours. This unique method imparts a special character to each garment, preserving a story of ancient craft and tradition unique to Ireland.

Care Instructions: 

Dry Clean Only:  Due to the delicate nature of beetled linen and to preserve its unique texture and integrity, we recommend dry cleaning only. Professional dry cleaning ensures expert care tailored to delicate fabrics like beetled linen.

Avoid Direct Sunlight:  Protect your beetled linen garment from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent potential fading and maintain its original colour and lustre.

Storage:  When not in use, store your beetled linen piece in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging on sharp hooks; instead, opt for padded hangers or fold neatly to maintain its shape.

Production Time:  Each piece is made to order with a production time of 3-4 weeks.
