Stella has always been one of our easiest dresses to wear and one of our hardest to forget. For Pre-Fall she moves into Cortado, a deep chocolate brown Irish linen with real warmth to it.

The shape is unchanged: a dropped waist, a full gathered skirt, and a bias cut frill that falls softly from the neckline down through the body. Softly puffed elbow sleeves keep it feeling relaxed rather than formal.

Like many of our pieces she can be worn two ways, V neck to the front or turned to the back. Deep side seam pockets mean you can wear her all day without thinking about it. This is a dress for dinners, for autumn weddings, and for ordinary Tuesdays.

Linen softens and grows more beautiful with age, which is one of the reasons we love it so much. We recommend either hand washing or machine washing at 30°C separately. Leave to air dry naturally, then press with a warm iron if desired. Do not tumble dry.
