Black beetled Irish linen, sculptural puff sleeves and a decidedly short hem. Named for the bells that call everyone to church, the Bell Ringing Dress is a mini, which is not something you hear often about church clothes.

The linen is beetled by William Clark & Sons, the traditional process giving it a deep sheen and a crisp hand that holds the shape of the sleeves. An elongated side panel adds to its distinctive outline, with a zip fastening at the back.

Wear it with black tights and flat shoes, or layer it over trousers for a different proportion.

Crafted from Irish beetled linen, this piece draws on one of Ireland’s oldest textile traditions. The beetling process gives the fabric its distinctive structure, smoothness and sheen, preserving a rare craft still practiced in Northern Ireland today. Care Instructions Dry clean only. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and store in a cool, dry place. Use a padded hanger or fold neatly to help maintain the shape of the garment.
