A new silhouette for Kindred of Ireland. The Mallon blazer/coat stays true to our oversized aesthetic, yet introduces a little more tailoring and structure than we have offered previously.

The Mallon Blazer is an investment piece that will find a home in your every day wardrobe. Whether you decide to dress it up with heels for the evening, or wear it into town with jeans and sneakers, the blazer will instantly make you feel put together.

Named after Mallon Farm where we shot this campaign. The farm is located in Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland and is home to where owners Charlie and Helen Mallon are revisiting the magic of growing flax- reviving a part of our heritage. They say "Irish grown linen is not forgotten, it has just been silent in our fields."

Made with luxurious heavy weight linen in dark navy and fully lined with black beetled linen, this is a one-of-a-kind piece that tells a unique story of Irish history and heritage. Our linen is beetled in the last mill of its kind - carried out by experts who have stewarded the skills passed down through generations.

Key Features:

-Front and side seam pockets

-natural horn buttons

(If desired, please leave neck- ankle measurement at checkout to ensure your garment is made to a perfect fit.)

Care

This Kindred of Ireland piece is made with Irish Beetled linen. Beetling is a unique process which dates back to the 1700's. The labour intensive process, whereby the linen is dampened and pounded with wooden blocks for hours on end, is carried out in Co. Derry - the last beetlers in the world! The garment is incredibly special and unique to Ireland, carrying a story of ancient craft and tradition.

Due to the delicate nature of the fabric, we recommend dry cleaning only to preserve the look and integrity of the fabric.
