This one is pretty special to us. Some of you may remember back whenever lockdown hit, we sourced some rainbow striped deadstock fabric and used it to make scrunchies. The concept was that when you bought one, we gifted one to your chosen front line NHS worker.

Back at that time, like so many people we felt a little disheartened with the world shutting down, thinking that dreams of building a creative business during a pandemic would be next to impossible. How wrong we were! We have a lot to thank that deadstock fabric for- the orders and support we received during that time was the special ingredient that caused things to start growing and flourishing for Kindred of Ireland.

When Isabel Spearman of The Daily Dress Edit asked us to design a dress using our signature rainbow fabric, we decided to use our best selling Camille dress as our first design reference. The Camille has been our best selling style over the last year, so we decided to build on the drama, versatility and fun that she embodies to come up with a more 'everyday' version.

Like all of our pieces, we design with the intention that you will put your own spin on how it's styled. The short sleeves gather into a cuff detail that can be folded up, tied with the delicate bow or left hanging loose. The dress can be worn with frills to the front, or spun around to wear as a wrap v-neck.

We hope you love this one. She is an ode to a time that we look back on with immense gratitude.

Care

When taken care of correctly, your linen piece can actually get better with age - It is one of many things that makes it such a sustainable fabric!

Washing Instructions:  Hand wash or machine wash at 30 degrees Celsius, alone or with similar colours. Air dry and follow with a warm iron if preferred. Never tumble dry.

General Care Tips:

Avoid Overexposure to Sunlight:  Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause linen to fade over time. Store your linen garments away from direct sunlight when not in use.

Gentle Handling:  Linen is a delicate fabric. When washing or drying, handle with care to avoid stretching or damaging the fibres.

Storage:  Store your linen clothing in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging on sharp hooks to prevent snagging; instead, use padded hangers or fold neatly to maintain shape.
