THE AMY COAT
THE AMY COAT
We are so delighted to introduce a big new step for us as a brand by introducing Donegal Tweed to our core collection.
An expansion of our deep love and passion for Irish textiles and keeping our rich heritage alive- originating in Co Donegal, this fabric has for centuries been woven by hand, mirroring the rugged, beautiful landscapes it hails from.
The Amy Coat, called after our founder and designer, is a contemporary twist on a traditional double breasted coat. When designing this piece, the goal was to strike the balance between feeling like you'd thrown on your Grandad's tweed jacket with a sense of elegance and femininity. We think we've achieved the balance with the boxy fit and shoulder pads, contrasted with the oversized bow that hangs beautifully down the back of the coat.
The Coat is fully lined with Beetled Linen which creates a beautiful finish and extra warmth for the winter months.

Care
Care
When taken care of correctly, your linen piece can actually get better with age - It is one of many things that makes it such a sustainable fabric!
Washing Instructions: Hand wash or machine wash at 30 degrees Celsius, alone or with similar colours. Air dry and follow with a warm iron if preferred. Never tumble dry.
General Care Tips:
Avoid Overexposure to Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause linen to fade over time. Store your linen garments away from direct sunlight when not in use.
Gentle Handling: Linen is a delicate fabric. When washing or drying, handle with care to avoid stretching or damaging the fibres.
Storage: Store your linen clothing in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging on sharp hooks to prevent snagging; instead, use padded hangers or fold neatly to maintain shape.
