Candlelight is a Donegal tweed with little shimmers woven through it, like the flicker of candles. Across its pale, textured ground, small sparks of light appear as the cloth moves.

We have given it a new silhouette in the Inheritance Coat: a neat stand collar, a tailored waist and a long line, finished inside with Irish linen. It buttons at the top and falls open below the waist, with pockets and room for a thin jumper beneath its fitted shape. It has something of the coat handed down with care, still lovely after years of wearing.

Wear it over the Twinkle Tweed Puff Shorts for the party season, or over everything you own on the coldest Sundays of the year. A coat to wear often, grow fond of and, one day, pass on.

This Kindred of Ireland piece is crafted from Donegal tweed, a fabric valued for its depth, durability and enduring character. To preserve its texture, colour and structure, we recommend dry cleaning only.

Care Instructions: Dry clean only. If needed, gently blot minor spills with a clean, dry cloth, taking care not to rub the fabric. Store in a cool, dry place and use a padded hanger or fold neatly when not in use.
