A shirt to wear either way round. In soft ivory tumbled Irish linen, the Choir Practice Shirt has a relaxed shape, gathers at the yoke and a bow fastening that can sit at the front or the back.

It belongs to the easy, midweek side of the collection: a weeknight in the church hall, a cup of tea and a little laughing at the back. The softened linen falls gently, with the gathers giving it fullness without formality.

Linen softens and grows more beautiful with age, which is one of the reasons we love it so much. We recommend either hand washing or machine washing at 30°C separately. Leave to air dry naturally, then press with a warm iron if desired. Do not tumble dry.

Our made to order pieces have a production time of 3-4 weeks.

Ready to ship items will be shipped within 1-2 working days.

Delivery is £6, and free on orders over £250.

Tumbling softens linen the way years of washing would, so it arrives with an easy drape and none of the stiffness of new cloth. Ivory has a warmth that white does not: the colour of an old choir surplice, or the good tablecloth brought out for visitors.
