It was so special to have Journalist Jes Salter visit us in Northern Ireland to meet our local manufacturers, chat about our mission and what we are building with Kindred of Ireland. We spent the day together at our studio and then travelled to Upperlands to meet Willie, the last beetler still practising the craft.

The piece highlights our efforts to support and help revive the last beetling mill on earth, which is a major part of our mission over the past year.

We’re glad the piece captures both significance of the linen industry to the community, and the importance of continuing this heritage into the future.
