    Head of Brand

Kindred of Ireland · Belfast, Northern Ireland

We are looking for a Head of Brand to deepen and expand the Kindred world, making it richer, more distinctive and more consistent across everything we create. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone with exceptional taste, strong visual judgement and cultural curiosity, who knows how to turn ambitious creative ideas into exceptional work.

Working closely with our founders, who hold Kindred’s creative language and commercial direction, you will take real ownership of how that world is expressed, produced, published and experienced. You will lead Kindred’s year-round storytelling across campaigns, editorial, email, social and other brand touchpoints, taking ideas from their earliest stages through to finished work. You should be equally comfortable developing a concept, producing a shoot, directing a photographer, commissioning a story, writing a newsletter or bringing a brilliant new idea or collaborator to the table.

This is a genuinely hands-on role for someone who likes making things happen. You will write, produce, organise, commission and edit, bringing in specialist collaborators where needed, while creating the structure and momentum that allows great creative work to happen consistently. The opportunity is to take the foundations, character and creative language of Kindred and build on them with care, imagination and an exceptionally high standard of execution.

    Key Responsibilities

    Brand & Storytelling

    • Translate Kindred’s vision, taste and values into coherent, high-quality brand expression
    • Develop and deliver storytelling ideas and campaigns year-round
    • Protect visual and verbal quality across all channels
    • Build deep understanding of Irish craft, linen, makers, heritage and place

    Editorial & Content

    • Own the editorial and content calendar
    • Write, edit and commission features, interviews and stories
    • Produce shoots, films and written content, directing photographers, videographers and writers
    • Write campaign emails and social content in Kindred’s voice

    Seasonal Collection Campaigns

    • Support the Creative Director from early concept through to campaign delivery
    • Own timelines, budgets, briefs, schedules, samples and asset requirements
    • Coordinate photographers, videographers, models and locations
    • Deliver campaigns across email, social and website

    Production & Delivery

    • Run productions from brief to delivery
    • Manage the annual brand and production budget
    • Build a trusted network of creative partners and collaborators
    • Keep assets organised and processes simple and scalable

    How to Apply

If you feel you meet the requirements for the role and can fulfil the essential criteria set out in the Personnel Specification, please submit:

    • Your CV
    • Your answers to the three questions below
    • Any relevant portfolio links

This is a full-time role, but we are open to a part-time (32 hour) arrangement for the right person (salary pro rata). If that applies to you, please say so in your application.

Applications are made through the form on our website.

Closing date: Sunday 20 September 2026, 9pm. We reserve the right to close applications earlier if necessary, so early applications are encouraged.

Any enquiries please send to careers@kindredofireland.com.

    Application Questions

Please answer all three questions in writing, in no more than 500 words each.

    1. Tell us about a time you were given a loose idea or creative direction rather than a finished brief. How did you take it forward and turn it into something concrete?
    2. If you had been in this role for six months and were asked what Kindred should be doing over the next three months from a brand and storytelling perspective, how would you approach that?
    3. Tell us about a time you felt a piece of creative work was not good enough. What did you do to improve it?
