Our Bloomers draw on a 19th century silhouette once worn beneath dresses, a garment that later came to stand for freedom of movement and a certain refusal to be told what to wear. We have kept that spirit and given it a softer, more oversized shape.

In Steam, they arrive in a thicker, grey herringbone Irish linen with the weight and quiet texture of autumn. The ankle ties are cut in Rosehip, a pale pink that lifts the whole piece and ties it back to the Willow Blouse.

Gather them in at the ankle for a fuller, balloon-like shape, or loosen the ties and let them fall wide. Side seam pockets and an elasticated waist make them as practical as they are expressive.

The model is 5'8 and wearing a size S/M.

Due to our made-to-order model, all pieces can be adjusted slightly if requested.

Linen softens and grows more beautiful with age, which is one of the reasons we love it so much.

We recommend either hand washing or machine washing at 30°C separately. Leave to air dry naturally, then press with a warm iron if desired. Do not tumble dry.

Our made to order pieces have a production time of 3-4 weeks.
