    A modern reimagining of a historical silhouette, the Bloomers draw inspiration from 19th century undergarments once worn beneath dresses. Reclaimed and reinterpreted, they nod to a time when clothing became part of a wider movement for women’s freedom — most notably through Amelia Bloomer, who wore them unapologetically.

    Cut in a relaxed, softly voluminous shape, this version is designed for everyday wear. An elasticated waistband create a comfortable, easy fit, while the silhouette brings a sense of playfulness and quiet statement to the wardrobe.

    Crafted from 100% Irish linen in Buttermilk, the fabric is beautifully soft, breathable and gentle on the skin, making them ideal for warmer days. Worn simply with a shirt or layered more creatively, the Bloomers offer a balance of comfort, character and subtle historical reference.     Due to our made-to-order model, all pieces can be adjusted slightly if requested.

    Linen softens and grows more beautiful with age, which is one of the reasons we love it so much. We recommend either hand washing or machine washing at 30°C separately. Leave to air dry naturally, then press with a warm iron if desired. Do not tumble dry.

    Our made to order pieces have a production time of 3-4 weeks.

    Ready to ship items will be shipped within 1-2 working days.

    Delivery is £6, and free on orders over £250.

    No customs charges for any of our pieces if based in the EU.

    Flax makes the strongest of the natural fibres, and needs far less water to grow than cotton. Linen is cool in summer and warm when the weather turns.

    It softens with every wash, and gets better the longer you keep it.
