Linen wedding dresses and bridal gowns, made by hand in Ireland once you order. Complimentary hem and sleeve adjustments; delivered worldwide, duties covered.

Irish linen is at the heart of every piece: the soft sheen of beetled linen, delicate hand crochet and cloth chosen to move with you through a long, happy day.

Each gown takes six to eight weeks to make and is sent with tracking. Alongside the dresses you’ll find bridal separates and accessories: tops, skirts, trousers and a crochet veil for the day itself and the days around it.

Your questions, answered

How long does a Kindred wedding dress take?

Every dress is made to order in six to eight weeks, then sent by tracked delivery. We suggest ordering at least eight weeks before your wedding. If your date is sooner, ask us about our rush service.

Can I try the dresses on?

Yes, at our Belfast studio by appointment. We do not keep every piece in every size, so tell us which dresses you would like to try and we will have them ready. Email bridal@kindredofireland.com.

What sizes do you make?

XXS to XXL: UK 6 to 22, EU 34 to 50 and US 2 to 18.

Can my dress be altered?

Every dress includes complimentary hem and sleeve adjustments.

Do you deliver to the United States and further afield?

Yes. Every bridal order is sent by tracked express delivery and prices show in your own currency at checkout. For the United States, import duties are covered by us, so there is nothing more to pay on delivery; please allow up to seven business days once your dress is dispatched.

Can I return a wedding dress?

Because every bridal piece is made for you, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on bridal. We are always happy to talk through fit and fabric by email before you order.

Why choose linen for a wedding dress?

Linen is cool to wear, holds its shape and softens beautifully with time. Beetled linen, hammered until it catches the light, gives a quiet sheen without silk. And because many of our pieces are separates, a blazer, a skirt, a pair of trousers, they are made to be worn again long after the day.
