A sweet unwrapped at the quietest, most solemn moment. However carefully you try, the wrapper always has something to say. The Sweetie Trousers are a fond nod to that small, very human interruption.

Our Amelia Trousers are turned inside out, bringing the pockets into view in pink beetled linen. Matching pink binding traces the edges against Choir Boy linen, a dark charcoal with a deep red stripe. Finding the sweets should be rather easier now.

Wide in the leg and elasticated at the waist, wear them with the Double Collar Shirt in the same stripe, if you really don’t mind being noticed.

Crafted from Irish beetled linen, this piece draws on one of Ireland’s oldest textile traditions. The beetling process gives the fabric its distinctive structure, smoothness and sheen, preserving a rare craft still practiced in Northern Ireland today. Care Instructions Dry clean only. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and store in a cool, dry place. Use a padded hanger or fold neatly to help maintain the shape of the garment.
