The hero piece of Within the Garden, our Pressed Flower Beetled Coat brings together two of the collection’s most special threads: our own bespoke floral print, and the extraordinary heritage process of beetling. Printed on Irish linen and then beetled over four weeks by William Clark, the fabric has a distinctive depth, structure and quiet sheen that makes this piece feel truly unlike anything else in the collection. It is steeped in heritage craft, but created in a way that feels fresh, rare and deeply alive.

Its silhouette is clean yet dramatic, with a long, elegant line, oversized collar and softly rounded volume through the body. There is romance in it, but also strength. Crafted from Irish beetled linen, this piece draws on one of Ireland’s oldest textile traditions. The beetling process gives the fabric its distinctive structure, smoothness and sheen, preserving a rare craft still practiced in Northern Ireland today.
