This Kindred of Ireland piece is made with Irish Beetled linen. Beetling is a unique process which dates back to the 1700's. The labour intensive process, whereby the linen is dampened and pounded with wooden blocks for hours on end, is carried out in Co. Derry. We recommenddry cleaning only.
